GALAXY Vladivostok MARATHON
the largest running event in the Russian Far East
On September 27, a big sports celebration will take place — the 9th Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon. More than 5,000 people from different cities of Russia and beyond will take part in the most picturesque marathon in the Far East.
The Bridges of Vladivostok marathon will be held as part of the activities of the federal project "Increasing the availability of tourist products" of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry", with the support from the Primorsky Krai Tourism Ministry.
The marathon is organized by the RunDnsRun running club, the general partner is the DNS Group of Companies. The route and holding of the Marathon is carried out with the support and approval of the Government of Primorsky Krai and the Administration of the city of Vladivostok. The Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon is the only marathon in the Far East that is on the AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Runs) calendar.
This year's marathon will present a modified route concept with a start and finish on the Central Square: not only traditional distances will be presented: 10, 21.1, 42.2 km, but also new ones: 3, 7, 28 km. A 1 km children's race will be organized for the youngest athletes and there will also be a distance for the Paralympic race. It will also be possible to participate in the Corporate Cup, a championship in which organizations compete.
The winners of all the races will share the total prize pool of more than 1,000,000 rubles.
